Discover the joy of watercolor with our Beginning Watercolor class taught by Kathy Schaetz at Designs by Dieter. Mastering pumpkins for absolute beginners. Have you always wanted to try watercolor but felt to intimidated to start? Bring your favorite warm beverage and join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop. You will learn the foundational secrets of watercolor painting while creating a beautiful, frame-ready seasonal masterpiece. No drawing or painting experience required. We promise. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN • Water Control Demystified: Say goodbye to muddy colors and learn how to achieve that perfect watercolor glow. • The Art of Muted Tones: Learn how to mix trendy autumn shades like dusty teal, sage green, and warm ochre. • Use simple wet-on-wet shading techniques to make your pumpkins pop off the page. WHAT IS INCLUDED • Pre-sketched 140lb cotton paper: Skip the drawing anxiety and get straight to the fun part! • Use of premium artist-grade brushes, vibrant pigments, and mixing palettes. • Step-by-step live demonstrations and personalized, 1-on-1 coaching. Cancellation Policy: Contact Designs by Dieter at least 3 days before the class to receive a full refund. Kathy Schaetz and Designs by Dieter, LLC, will make every effort, to avoid canceling or rescheduling classes. However, we reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment (minimum of 3 students), inclement weather, or unforeseeable circumstances.
