Ceramic Bowl Class

Service Description

In this engaging hands-on workshop, students will decorate a leather-hard ceramic bowl using a variety of clay design techniques. Participants will roll out clay, cut shapes using pre-cut templates and cutters, or design their own unique pieces to attach to their bowl. Students will learn proper methods for attaching clay decorations and gain experience in glazing with a wide selection of bright, colorful glazes. Once completed, pieces will dry for one week before being fired in the kiln. Students may pick up their finished bowls one week later. This class is a wonderful opportunity to explore creativity, texture, and color while crafting a personalized ceramic artwork. Children must be 10+ years old. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No food/eating during class. Any drinks in class should be covered/in closed container. Only closed toe shoes. Please wear older clothes as the glaze is not guaranteed to wash out. A waiver will be provided and signed by each student before class.
